It's almost Christmas! This weekend I successfully finished shopping for all of my gifts and it feels so good to be finished early for once. One of my favorite things about the holiday season in Atlanta has been all of the amazing pop ups that Atlanta's creatives have opened. A few weeks back I shot Waiting on Martha's pop up shop at Shops Around Lenox. Mandy's temporary brick and mortar is gorgeous and so are all of her shop items. Good news, there is still time to shop! Hello friends and happy almost Christmas! It has been a little crazy over here and if you follow on instagram you know I've been busy traveling and shooting lots of pretties. I look forward to catching up on the blog as the sessions slow down a bit and everyone takes some much needed time off. One session I wanted to share with you now is an adorable at home session that will get you in the festive spirit even more. This past weekend, I got to shoot Britt and Ren in their festive home that had such gorgeous light and details I felt like a kid in a candy store ;) They were so cute together along with their adorable pup, Birdie. A few months ago, I photographed Amy Osaba's One on One session with Jessica Zimmerman. It was so great to meet Jessica Zimmerman of Zimmerman Events and capture her creative process. I've been shooting for The Mich Mix for eight months now and it has been so much fun getting to see Michelle grow her blog and develop her style. As I was going through my external hard drive and organizing today, I got a little nostalgic thinking back to when we first met in April and when we shot her first session. We both have come a long way since then and I love the rhythm we have created together. Halloween may be over, but pumpkin time surely is not. I loved shooting these maple glazed pumpkin bread bites for Waiting on Martha and getting to sample them. They are so delicious and would be a perfect Thanksgiving treat! See more about the recipe on WOM here.
